Older versions of AutoCAD had a Symbols Icon,  which would dropdown and included such symbols as Centerline, or Sheet code symbol. Is that button still in 2018? If so How can I add this button to my CUI.

Hi @ALANHOEWELER,

You should see this when you open the MTEXT editor.

I can not find the Symbol icon on any of my menu options. Could I have deleted it from my CUI? how would I recover it?

Hi @ALANHOEWELER,

Use the Mtext command and draw the text area. Then when  you starting adding text to the box, you will see the Symbol icon in the Ribbon.

You can also copy/paste characters using the Windows Character Map.
