Would anyone be able to guide me through how to 'Insert Comments' into my drawings. Similar to Excel 'Insert Comments'.

My University is moving onto an application called Planon, for which I have to create an individual drawing per floor rather than building.

There is a limit to the  Attributes displayed as they cannot go outside the Polyline, which when you have a 'Riser' 0.4 m2 this is a problem.

The only way I can see around this issue is if I can have a pop up box.

Has anyone come across this before or can suggest options?

Regards

Nigel

Nothing like it in AutoCAD: why not assign a hyperlink to the object instead, but use text/words instead of a link (the upper entry option in that pop-up). If you don't mind they are invisible until you hover over the object.

Here is a quick overiew http://www.ellenfinkelstein.com/acadblog/using-hyperlinks/

Unless you need is a lot more complex like this https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2016/ENU/AutoC...

Perfect, I have discovered I can use it to attach the building Fire Risk Assessment and when converted into a PDF for general viewing the link even works in that also.. Bargain.

Fantastic advice thank you.
