Input to execute the PURGE command

When executing the PURGE command, I cannot type the letter "A" for ALL.  It does nothing.  Is there a setting I am missing?  I played around with dynamic input but that did nothing.

I think you have to hold down the ALT key and press A if you are using the dialog box

Show us the screenshot of your PURGE command's pop-up in full please.

Or are you using -PURGE and commandline version, in which case you just type A then <enter> to activate that ALL option.

Normally from this screen, I could just type A to continually Purge All.  But now I have to continually click the Purge All Button.

Why type it out?  Make a Toolbar button and you never have to type again.

Just click and let it run. I have this typed in multiple times because it does not always remove everything on one pass.

The first one is for Purge. The next one can wipe out everything you have in a drawing. I call it PC for Purge All Clean. This is great if you want to have a fresh start up drawing. See attached Image. My Toolbar screen shot is in the middle.

Hope you give it a try. Then you can add many other commands that you have to type several words to have it run.

Thanks, JRR!

May I ask why you adking this? Does it mean it works on your side?

I thought the TO is wrong with it (in old versions with the old purge dlg it worked that way),

and user181 wrote above, you need a [ALT]+[A]

???

Alt+A keyboard combination is required to execute the Purge All button since any letter that is underlined on the dialog box requires the Alt key combination in order for it to work.

Now back to unchecking the "Confirm..." toggle button.  Then you won't get this alert window for each item:

Thanks for confirming, TO wrote 2x about a simple "A"

I didn't realize you are refering to "another" issue.

Thanks

There is literally NOTHING to purge going by your screenshot

Does the hold-CTRL-button-down top from the other reply fix your issue?

Do you have this issue in all of your files (with content to purge)?

I know there is nothing to purge.  I was trying to respond quickly and was just showing the screen where I would just keep hitting A, to purge all.  Never had to use CTRL or ALT before.  It's not working anyway, but thank you.
