Input Lag with commands

Hi All,

So I have been recently running into this issue where when I type the short commands like "e" for erase and space or enter, its now waiting for the mini search window to pop up before I can press enter again for it to take. Anyone know what could be the cause?

Use INPUTSEARCHOPTIONS command and change the delay time to be longer (maybe 5000 or experiment with times) and also try unchecking the enable mid-string search

Ok so I've pinpointed it down to 3d objects and the E command for erase. Copy/Move and so on have been working fine, but when I try to press E -> space/enter it wont process unless i wait a second or two.

Ok never mind its happening now with Move and Copy as well.

Go get the the 2022.1 Update installd then restart your PC. Get it from your Autodesk Account Page here https://manage.autodesk.com/cep/#products-services/updates

If that did not help... Set GFXDX12 variable to 0 (that's a zero) then restart AutoCAD/LT2022: reverting to DirectX11 fixes similar problems for most users.

Also consider turning off LINESMOOTHING and LINEFADING variables: if still no relief then start GRAPHICSCONFIG command and change the 2D Display Settings pulldown from "advanced mode" to one of the other choices.

If all else fails, then turn off Hardware Acceleration as a last resort.
