Indicating Hidden Lines

Hello, 

I am wondering if there is a way to have autocad show dashed lines in place of lines that are rendered hidden in a viewport when plotted. I draw many steel frame weldments, and am currently drawing dashed lines over these lines manually.

Does it help if you

• start command _VISUALSTYLES
• select the "Hidden" visual-style
• change the setting "Occluded Edges" ==> "Show" to "YES"
• and make sure this visual style is assigned to the current view/viewport

(better workflow would be to copy the visual style and then work with the copied one).
