In Required Viewport Scale, the Drawing Looks Too Small

Hello,

I have created a viewport through which to see my drawing in Pspace. I am a student, and our drawing needs to be printed with a VP scale of 1/4"= 1'-0". However, when I adjust the scale to this setting, the drawing of my floorplan looks tiny. I know this is a scale issue but I don't know how or where to change it. I am an intermediate level CAD student studying Interior Design, I understand many CAD commands and functions, but scales confuse me. I am not great at proportions/ratios, so I know I am not grasping something. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

HK

Thank you for your input, but I don't know what you propose I do to correct this. I created the parameters of the drawing according to specs given by my instructor. Those are correct. Somewhere along the line when I created it, could I have scaled it up? If so, can I go in somewhere (Properties, which I can't seem to access by right clicking the mouse) to put it at a smaller scale? Because when you say my paper is too big, I haven't printed it yet, so I assume you are referring to the perimeter of the drawing, not actual paper. Thanks

The atual size of the paper should be 24"x36" , yours was 96'-0" x 144'-0"

WOW! So when you say the size of the paper, I assume you mean the large outer rectangle of the drawing?

Hi Again, Patchy,

I measured the length of the drawing and see what you mean. How would you recommend I change the size to get it back down to scale? When I originally created it, I'm pretty sure it was 36' x 24'. I think I may have answered a question that popped up in a box that said something like, "Redefine drawing" and maybe that changed the size?

LIST your title block, the block scaled up 48 times when it inserted into your drawing.
