importing .iv or .vrml file into autocad

Hello

I have z stacks obtained by confocal microscope and reconstructed into 3D by imaris, exported in the formats of .iv and .wrl. my aim is to import these structures into autocad. which program could allow the conversion of the format into a one that is supported by autodesk.

I am not sure what IV or VRML files are. 
I have asked an admin to move your thread to the AutoCAD forum where it should get more help. 
I'd suspect you'd have more luck with a STEP or STL

Your virtual Reality model files require 3rd party converters, it appears none of the good ones are free, and all have some amount of content loss that may be unavoidable. Help yourself online, I'll get you started with a search here

3ds Max or Maya can do that in the Autodesk world - see:
