Importing .FBX files

So I googled this topic and found this AKN link

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2016/ENU/AutoC...

the only problem is that -FBXIMPORT or any version of that does not exist in AutoCAD (I'm running ACAD 2020).  It also does not exist in ACAD ARch 2021.  I tried using IMPORT but in the dialog box, the file type drop-down does not show .fbx as an option.  I tried "All Files" and just clicked it but nothing happened. What am I missing?

The link is to a document from 2015: AutoCAD has changed since then, FBX import is no longer an option.

In your current AutoCAD version, simply type IMPORT FBX into the help search box an you'll get this for an explanation, no googling required:
"Issue:
Starting with AutoCAD 2019, support for the import and export of the FBX file format has been removed.

Solution:
To convert a DWG file to FBX format, append the drawing in Navisworks and then export from Navisworks to FBX, or use AutoCAD 2018."

thanks! that's good to know. It's always disappointing when features are removed. I guess I'll hold on to ACAD 2018 for a while.

I still have a perpetual license for 2018.

If I try installing it alongside 2022 will I hose 2022?

@JOHNLLOYD7213 2018 and 2022 can be installed on the same PC without one affecting the other in WindowsOS.
