Import .jt files

Can AutoCAD 2017 import (.jt) files?

I know that the Lt version can't, but I couldn't find out if the full version could in the help menus

.jt is one of the types of files listed when you run the IMPORT command. That being said, I personally have never done it.

I see that you are visiting as a new member. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

I just grabbed an Open Cad (.JT) file off the web  and imported into AutoCAD 2017 without any issue.

Currently running AutoCAD 2017 Lt and wasn't sure what direction to go 

(1) AutoCAD Full version or

(2) Inventor Pro

Given i have never used Inventor, the decision is easy upgrade to AutoCAD 2017 Full
