Import IFC file to Autocad

Is it possible to impot IFC file to Autocad?

How to do it if possible.

Hi,

without a 3rd party application plain AutoCAD can't import IFC files.

If you have an active subscription and you have access to AutoCAD toolsets you can install AutoCAD Architecture or AutoCAD MEP, these 2 verticals can import IFC files. If you have Civil 3D, it also can import IFC-files (but without tools to edit IFC parts like walls, doors, windows, stairs, roof, ...).

I subscribe to Autocad but if I want the tools to be able to impot IFC file then it is quite a big cost for AutoCAD Architecture or AutoCAD ME. 🙂

It depends, if your subscription includes AutoCAD Toolsets then you have all them as one product, just download and install them.
