Import 3D objects from library into environment using JSON or Excel

Hi,

If this has been asked I am sorry. I have not found a reference that answers my question.

I have an environment (either a map of an outdoor space or a room in a building). I also have a library of 3D objects. All are DWG or otherwise compatible. I want to import select objects from the library with specified scale, position and orientation that can be defined in a JSON or spreadsheet. How would go about batch importing. Would it be by creating a LISP or is there an already available plugin that could work within AutoCAD?

Thanks!!

@dmillsVJKLV  - Have you looked at Dynamo?  I'm not sure if there is an extension for "AutoCAD" specifically but you could always use Civil 3D as it still has the Autocad base functionality.  You can also use Dynamo to import via JSON or Excel and create those objects for you.  If you are unfamiliar with Dynamo, I'm sure one of us can help you accomplish this if you post the material you need imported.
