image clip not retained after saving and re-opening drawing

I am using image clip to crop photos to do a quick veneer layout.

When I save, exit and re-open the drawing, the boundary on some (not all) of the images has skewed and no longer shows the outline that I chose previously.  It does not remove the image clip entirely, just shifts it from a pure rectangle (selected polyline) to a slanted polygon shape slightly larger than before....attached image shows my blue border that I clipped to and the resulting image spillover.

Any ideas why the imageclip is not saved as I left it?

Thanks!

Some images means what to the rest of us over here? What is unique about those images that does not apply to the others? Dig deeper to find out, you can select all of them then start PROPERTIES to see, other than location and size, what else do not match.

What does ABOUT command list as your AutoCAD version?

When you re-open the DWG, try UNDOing until there's "Nothing to Undo".

Do the images "fix" themselves?

If so, there is probably something running during DWG open that is affecting the images. You might be able to see what this/these is/are by looking at the command line (hit F2 and scroll back) after the DWG is opened.

If not, then we'll have to look elsewhere.
