I need to circle off a 3d solid

Hello, screenshot will explain meaning of question. I need that solid piece to make perfect circle bend yet i failed to understand how and I`been searching it since 2 days, it doesn't have to be in autocad so I'm open to all suggestions. thanks.

If I understand correctly, you want the profile shape on the right of your screenshot to wrap around the cylinder on the left?

I don't think you can do it in AutoCAD but Inventor should be able to do it with 'wrap' command if you have access to that software. Double check on the Inventor forum to be certain.

can you post and attach a dwg of the two pieces?

theory I see is draw 1/5 of the design as 1/5 of the circumference curved to fit the radius and polar array the rest around the cylinder.

attached is messy but shows the theory used.  needs more pre calculating of dimensions

use inventor if it works there. obviously much easier
