Hello guys is there anyone who can help me solve my problems

1.When i save my autocad drawing to pdf file it doesnt show the same lines as they were in my drawing file and also i dont know how to save my file to show at center as u can see at the second image i want it in middle but i dont know how to do it(i used zoom extents but still the same)

2.whenever i make a new drawing and i try to draw lines and change their lineweight they dont change i was using lineweight command >display lineweight (<is it the right way cuz iam thinking that thing is causing my problems when iam saving the file to pdf)

I'll put the content in spoiler

note: i used autocad 2014 (student versoin)to make this drawing but when i saved to pdf file the lines werent the same and also i had the educational stamp,so i switch to autocad 2015 (student version) Sorry for the poor english and thanks in advance

Spoiler

for example here is my drawing in autocad1.pngand here is in the pdf 2.pngwell maybe it doesnt look that bad ,but i think it is not showing the exact same lines as they are in autocad,i tried earlier to lineweight the dimensions but they didnt apear  in the pdf file, so iam asking if there is any option or something that helps me to save the exact same lines from autocad to pdf

and also when i zoom in the texture in the pdf file isnt showing like in autocad here are the images

any idea why this is happening

Hi,

>> When i save my autocad drawing to pdf file it doesnt show the same lines as they were in my drawing file

I don't see any lines in screenshot 1 which are "not the same lines" as the screenshot 2 shows.

And a principle question when you say "save to PDF" what exactly did you do to create a PDF (as AutoCAD does not have a "SAVEAS to PDF"), did you use command _EXPORTPDF or _PLOT or _PUBLISH?

That makes me thinking you are not going the way of plotting, but in case you need an exact paperlayout you should use _PLOT from a layout.

AutoCAD is not a paint program, it works in structures and a part of structures is to use layers. Create layers by meaning, assign that layers lineweights and whenever you draw objects on that layers they will (by default, as long as you don't play with lineweights by object) show the lineweight of that layer. Make sure you have turned on sysvar LWDISPLAY (>>>details<<<) so the display shows the linesweights.

Why does the educational stamp is a problem?
