I'm in a drafting class in highschool and we drew this hammer. I want to make it in 3d modeling. The only thing ive made in 3D is a Christmas Ornament which was pretty simple. Hopefully yall can help me with this and hopefully youre able to open my file.

Draw closed polyline at each elevation change, then click on each shapes, go to Properties Pallet and assign proper Z , after that use LOFT and then UNION.

It's an example here, do it right for your homework ☺

Go to Youtube, there are many tutorials for threads on round rods and start to play with 3D.

There are probably dozens of ways of tackling this.

The handle is basic cylinders.

The head I would break up into sections as follows:

The front part is a loft between two closed polylines (in blue) using the red guidelines.

The middle part is a simple box.

The back part is a closed polyline extruded.

Union the three parts together and finally add a chamfer to the front edges.
