I have no access to my AutoCAD

I tried to open a document on my own autoCAD, on my own computer, and it also was created in my computer BUT when I try to open the program it appears a sign that says "AutoCAD Alert, Folders on your computer that AutoCAD needs access to, are not available. AutoCAD cannot run until folder permission issues are solved" BUT I HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT HOW TO FIX THIS AND I'M IN MY FINALS PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

try to click autocad icon and run as administrator and or change your window account as administrator instead of standard and see if helps. worse scenario is to do a clean uninstall and reinstall again your autocad. thanjs

Hi, I tried both things, none worked. I uninstalled the program and then didn’t even let me install it again.
I can’t even go into de program, I can’t change anything, it doesn’t even open!

Did you read the other link that was provided to you yet https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-for-mac/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticle...

What year version of AutoCAD and which OS are you running exactly?

Do this https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-for-mac/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticle...

If you don't understand what that link above is talking about, say so: don't pretend you can't see it.

And if that does not help, you need to be posting in the dedicated MAC forum over here for further assistance https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-for-mac/ct-p/4051

Thank you for your help. I tried everything you said, I read everything, I’m in an emergency so I truly try every single thing.

In the other side, keep your rude attitude for yourself, I’m just desperately asking for help, not for disrespects.

Thank you, have a nice day. God bless you.

There are 2 things to check and/or do:

1st is make sure you have the latest update for AutoCAD 2017 for Mac: (2017.3 this has been mentioned/linked in other posts)

The second is that Mojave "locks things down" rather tightly, and you may need to grant AutoCAD (and the dmg installer package if you still need to re-install) "full disk access" in order for it to work. If you are still unable to re-install, follow the instructions for a complete uninstall described in links in other posts. If all you did was drag AutoCAD from the applications folder to the trash and then empty the trash, this does not completely uninstall all components as it will do with simpler software installed on Mac OS. You must do the complete uninstall also referenced in other posts, then re-install.

Instructions for full disk access here:

https://macpaw.com/how-to/full-disk-access-mojave

I have encountered this disk access roadblock on Mojave with other software, not AutoCAD (I don't use AutoCAD for Mac anymore) but this could be part of the problem.

Good Luck!
