I found the trial folder, and I want to it gone but...

Okay, so I'm trying to clear up some space on my hard drive and I found the trial folder of AutoCAD 2017 - English. Just so I won't bug out the software itself, I'm asking if it's okay to delete this folder permanently when I already activated the program?

Did you install it in 2017? that would make it more than 3 years for trial, it shouldn't run anyway.

No, I installed it just last year. My laptop couldn't reach the minimum requirements of the new versions then, so I downloaded the version that it can.

So... I can delete the trial folder without problems?

Check and see when was the files modified or accessed to be sure they are junks.

 

Then use windows, make a restore point, delete the folder.

If things go bad, restore it.

Hmmm... The program was a bit slower when I put the folder in the recycling bin. Not sure what file it needed but I'm looking at all of the files. So far, the most recent ones are the date I downloaded it last year.

The installation file doesn't do anything once Autocad is running.

Okay. I checked my downloads first and sure enough, I don't have the installer of AutoCAD2017 but I have Autodesk Download Manager. Just to be safe, I'm just going to download the installer again and find my license number and key. Then I'll do what you suggested. Thanks for the help.
