I cannot erase some shapes in AutoCAD 2020

Hi All,

I can't seem to edit/erase some shapes in AutoCAD 2020. After pressing the erase button in the modify panel, the shapes and the enter button, nothing happens. The shape is still there. I'm not sure why.

Type in the command "PICKFIRST" and set it to "1"

is that means that you're able to erase others ? if yes ... you may need to check your layer status for those undeleted shapes .

I've written "PICKFIRST" and then written "1" but it's still not working.

I've checked all of them. They are all unlocked.

It won't let me load DelProxy. 

I get an error message saying, "This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action".

Hi,

These are the proxy object which comes from other AutoCAD Vertical products(AutoCAD Architecture, AutoCAD Mechanical etc) and you need to export the drawing to work with plain AutoCAD. 

To do that type in the command " AECTOACAD" and tap the enter the twice, which would export the drawing to be compatible with plain AutoCAD. The drawing will be saved in the same location where the main drawing is with prefix "ACAD-"

It does let me copy it but not paste it to the next drawing sheet

please try to use command _SAVEAS and select the filetype "DXF-2000" ... close the file.

Now try

• to open the DXF ... anything better
• create a new dwg-file and use command _INSERT to insert this DXF file ... anything better?
