Can someone help me loft this drawing by loft command or any other command which helps to make this look like 3D model. Thanks in advance!

Hi,

explode the REGION objects and use command _JOIN to create closed splines for each of the sections.

Then command _LOFT will work well.

Hi,

>> I already tried this but it's not working.

Then please

  • let us know what you get when you try it (any error messages)?
  • upload the drawing with the splines instead of the regions.

I tried a few of your regions to explode, then join, then loft ... and it worked well.

Thanks for your Reply Betreff!

and yes, I got some error like "Modeling Operation Error" and Some error code

Unfortunately, I can't remember the code but it starts with 41****

Right now, I left from office so I can't share the exact code which i got while lofting the object.

Until then can you please share the drawing file which you worked on and is there any chance to record the video of how you done?

Thanks again for your time and efforts on this issue!

@Gokul.h

Are you sure that the section shapes are the correct ones? First you should check and confirm (or correct) that. I get a rather "crinkled" result.

Furthermore: Do you know that you can use for the first and/or the last section a point (instead of  closed shape)?

Yeah I'm sure. This is the correct one.

After we loft then the object will look like a propeller.

Below picture is the example.

If you say so ...   But my doubts remain.

"After we loft then the object will look like a propeller."

I know what you expect. But may I ask again: Where are the regions in your Drawing1.dwg coming from?

Several of the splines have not so smooth lines with indentations and bumps so it appears no matter what is done the blade will be flawed.

Have you looked at how it has been done such as?  Seems like good and easier methods.

I think there is some issue in drawing, so I said them to correct the 5th region from bottom as you mentioned on this above image then loft.

Maybe that works.

Thanks!
