Hyperlink to another DWG minimizes Window.

I've seen several posts over the years similar to this, but haven't really found any answers.

 

I'm messing with cross drawing hyperlinks for the first time.  I like the way they work, but when you ctrl-click to use one, as soon as the linked drawing opens the AutoCAD window minimizes.  I'm posting a screencast of this.

 

Any ideas why this happens or how to stop it from happening?

@CGBenner (Chris),

I finally tested the DWG hyperlink with AutoCAD 2025 last night.

It did not minimize or restore down the AutoCAD app.

It is not working.  I'm still having the issue on 2026 AutoCAD.  Having the latest update is NOT the solution.

Correction, the minimize action is still occurring in AutoCAD 2025.1.2.

The minimization is just very minor. Notice the blue frame.

Hopefully this will be resolved in a future release.
