Hyperlink Bug or Setting?

I am using audocad map3d 2018 and am having an issue when using the hyperlink.  When I ctrl-click on an object with a hyperlink, when the hyperlinks opens my autocad then minimizes.  To add to my annoyance, then when i click on it to expand again, it does not expand to full screen (fills only about half my screen) so i then have to click on full screen.  Needless to say after testing dozens of hyperlinks it gets very annoying very fast.  I currently using a temp computer until my normal one gets fixed (was using 2019 then 2020) and didnt have any issues with it then.  Does this sound like a bug or is there some sort of setting I am missing?

For the windows size issue, it may have restoring the size from the last opening, so try to resize the AutoCAD program windows to the edge of your screen so that it is as large as it can be without being maximized and try it again. or set TASKBAR variable to zero and see if this helps. 

If above is not working, try to reset to default setting or reinstall from control panel so it behaves correctly.
