How to Snap and align different 3d objects together

I would like to know how can I perfectly snap and align 2 different 3d objects that are also blocks.
The objects I'm using are a 2000x1000x5 millimeter height rectangular object and the other one is a 50x50 bar with a thickness of 5 millimeters.

I would like to place them one on top of each other while perfectly preserving their corner alignment.

I did try using the 3D object snap but it seems that it doesn't do the trick or I'm not using it properly. The settings I'm using are shown here in the video.

To solve your issue you don't need any 3DOsnap. With the "normal" Osnap END you can place the L beam exact on the edge. Three possibilities are shown >>here<<.

Or did I misunderstand your question?
