How to repath an XREF

I received a document from my employer so I can work on a file outside the office. The elements of the document are there, however the floor plan is not. My employer said to repath the Xref to get the floor plan to appear in the background. Are there step by steps I can follow to easily get the Xref back in the document?

HI @Anonymous,

This is pretty simple. In fact, if you place the xref file in the same folder as the host drawing, AutoCAD should be able to find it automatically. To set the path manually, start the External Reference Manger by typing XR. Then select the "missing" xref file in the list. You can then adjust the Saved path to the location on your computer. When you click on that field you will see an ellipsis at the rt side. Click on that and browse to the file location.
