How to Remove Side Dimension Lines?

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out how to remove the dimension lines on the outer side of the extension lines. Changing system variable DIMDLE does not work.

Please see attached imaged for further clarification.

Would you please attache here that dimension sample as a CAD dwg file ,for testing ?

Hi,

This isn't the exact file as the prior image shows but I would still need to remove the left dimension line that extends beyond the left extension line.

As you can see, it also removes your dot.  Is that what you want?

The relevant System Variables are DIMSD1 & DIMSD2 [= Suppress Dimension line 1 & 2].  Because they're about Suppressing, you want one of them ON when you don't want to see the corresponding Dimension line.

Click on below image to see how by stopping over the hot grip then Flip Arrow will resolve your issue .

Hi Kent,

I need the dot to be visible. However, like mentioned earlier, flipping the grip ends up hiding the dimension line. Thank though 🙂
