Hi all,

Could anyone advise me how to hide the dimension node in the red circles? Thank you very much.

Thank you, Patchy.

I tried this way however it seems not affect the dimension.

May I ask, why you want those hidden?

Okee, I see them now with your new pic, I don't think you can, they won't plot so just ignore them.

You don't.
But they will never print/plot: they are there to help you visually see where dims are snapped to, so if you hide them you'll just set yourself up for accuracy problems later on.

Agreed, there is no reason to remove the 'nodes' for dimensions.

They help indicate where the dimension is associated to on the object, and they do not plot.

Hello @Anonymous,

You cannot remove them in a general manner. Don't worry about them anyway, those aren't real points. If you explode the dimensions they go away.

Hi John,

I used the dimension lines to show column coordinates. You could see the 'blue' nodes. Just want to hide them. Not a big deal if I can't.

Puzzling, where the nodes reference to? Where are the dimensions that use them?

Are you sure those are not POINT objects?

Hi,

I've been having a similar issue after migrating to 2018 LT from acad 2013 (full version).

When I erase dimensions, the nodes have been staying as ghosts. They don't print and aren't selectable- but they're visually distracting... lots of nodes on the screen. They'll partially disappear when I regen, but then reappear later.

I'd love to figure out what's going on with these and make them go away... I've never had this happen before.

Thanks!

Hi,

Try renaming the layer in which the points are, then you might be able to select the points.

Did you try changing your graphic engine, restarting AutoCAD, or restarting your computer?
