I am learning. I searched online but it seems that none of the "solutions" actually work.
I want to program my mouse buttons to do some functions in autocad. For example, I want my 5th button on my mouse to do undo in autocad. this is one of my side mouse clicks.
CUI shows extra buttons but they are for tablets. I added one more button but I do not how to route it to my mouse. The mouse driver does not show specific application function. Can anyone help?
Best,

what device are you using?
Many of the custom functions on my devices are controlled by their proprietary software

What mouse do you have? Do you have its SW driver installed? The command should be set in that driver, not in autocad. You may set the commands directly (eg. "UNDO" or "U") or use key shortcuts, as I do.
Edit: Your subject is too long, I did not see the end. So look at THIS tutorial, use "Typing key" option for command setting (not sure if there has to be space at end or not) or Keystroke for key shortcut.
My subject "clearly" says Corsair M65 RGB. THAT IS THE MOUSE I USE.
I use this with windows 10 pro.
Unfortunately, the driver for my mouse is different with the mouse you posted pictures here. This is a different driver. This tutorial you mentioned has nothing to do with Autocad. Again, I am not talking about keyboard shortcuts.
My driver or Proprietary software does not have any option for Autocad. However, it is very customizable and they all function and work in windows or other programs. my issue is with Autocad 2018.
Not all device drivers use profiles i.e. "option for autocad".
In order to help you with your problem i my first understand your problem. What device are you using?
If your mouse customization are working in other applications then it should work in Autocad. Undo is not specific to Autocad.

Sorry about that. As I've said, its quite long and the forum trims that... (yes, its shown in full size on next page, but I've focus on the contents)

I'm using different multi-button mouses for a decade. So trust me, shortcuts are most reliable way to go. Or very simple words, like single or double letter commands/aliases.
>> In your driver:
- Create a new profile, call it Autocad, link profile to actual program by its name acad.exe.
- Assign the "U" letter on one of the buttons - letter U works for UNDO in autocad by default.
- if you decide to use a shortcut, you need to assign the same one in both Autocad-CUI and mouse driver.
@ВeekeeCZ lol trim did me in as well....

@ВeekeeCZ thank you
Thank you so much for your time and consideration replying to my post.
I think I am gonna try to create a profile and try to map it to Autocad.
Just one more thing, Here is an screen capture for CUI... as you see I added a mouse button as button 11, and assigned Undo ( for example, i will change this to something else, like OSNAP). Now, how I can tell Autocad that this is my side button on the mouse?

Forget about those, no way to go. Use your mouse driver to set that.
// Set F3 for OSNAP in your mouse driver SW.
I have looked for the path to add to the corsair mapping button and I can not find it?
I am Programming my ROCCAT TYON and came across your post.
