@Anonymous  - do you have a budget for this, or are you looking for no cost resources? How do you learn best? From written materials, hands-on instruction, online tutorials? Are you enrolled in a school or university? Do you have a computer (PC/MAC) on which you can run the software?

I'm sure that they're individuals on this site with over 25 years plus of experience...

And they are still "learning" the software, so... please explain what you mean by a "short period of time"

1. Obtain program

2. Read Help Section

3. Play around in drawing environment

4. Research online tutorials/vids etc

5. Nothing beats a structured learning environment, such as a classroom

6. Ask for help when needed, but try to research your issue yourself first.

If by some odd chance my nattering was useful -- that's great, glad to help. But if it actually solved your issue, then please mark my solution as accepted :cara_con_una_leve_sonrisa:

You can learn the basics in a short period of time but knowing how to apply them appropriately will take years of training and experience.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Tutorials, books, course, all good things,

but i think the TurboBoost is a Mentor!

The problem for you is, you can't know who is a really good Mentor.

But every Mentor with a lot expierence should be a benefit for you.

It's easy to learn the wrong things for special goals.

Actually, I don't have a big budget for this. If if there something I need to pay I am ready. I need the guidelines step by step where and how to start. What basic things should I learn in order to complete this course. And additionally, any other programs need to learn in order to support Auto Cad. Thank you!

Thanks for your reply. Yeah, I should give more details here. Anyways, I need the basic idea. Not a master in  a short period of time.

Yeah, I am doing that. I started following online learning sites. But not sure about that how much I can learn. But I am following. Do you think it's a good idea?

What do you plan to use AutoCAD for after learning?  What is your drafting background?  Are you proficient in hand drafting already? Or in another drafting software package?

Knowing what you plan to use CAD for, and what your background skills are will help frame the answers.
