Hi,

Enter command STARTUP <1>.

It will turn to open new drawings according to templates created.

If you have created any templates it will be displayed in this window and you can choose from that.

Temp.JPG

Then you can copy the drawing to the new template.

Cheers,

Hi @Anonymous,

Depending on what you have in your template file, you might actually want to create a new drawing based upon your template and then insert the existing drawing into it.

For instance, if you have blocks in both the template and your drawing that are named the same but contain different geometry of features, the drawing where you insert into is going to determine which version of the block is going to be used.

To insert a template into an existing drawing, Right click on any tab (Model, Layout, etc.) and select "From Template" then select your desired template.

Hi @Anonymous,

I am checking back to see if my post or others helped you with your problem. Please add a post with how you decide to proceed and your results so other Community members may benefit.

If you are trying to bring only certain items from your template into an existing drawing I suggest that you take a look at the features of Design Center.
