How to import IGS File

I need to open a IGS File pin the student version of AutoCAD 2020 in a Mac, some one know how to do it.

Hi,

You can try command _IMPORT or command _IGESIMPORT, but I'm not sure that AutoCAD for Mac supports importing IGES files. If you receive "unknown command" as message or the filetype ".IGS" or ".IGES" is not shown in the filetype list then it's not possible.

If it's just one file then upload it here and I'll convert it for you.

If you have that as a common issue you might ask the creator of that file which other formats he can export and you can import, or you might install AutoCAD for Windows (using a virtual system) for converting it.
