hi please help me. my autocad has a zaxis even though its in drafting mode. and i have done all my floor plans on it only to realise the lines are all now floating about due to the zaxis. someone please help me flatten this file or something because i am in urgent need to import the 2d drawing file to my software to make my 3d models and all. please. thank you.

Does the FLATTEN command do what you want?  Be in the World Coordinate System before you use it [read about the UCS command in Help].

All drawings have a Z axis, whether or not you ever do anything off the XY plane.  If things with non-zero Z coordinates happened because of Object-Snapping to existing things like that, you can prevent that with the OSNAPZ System Variable.

If the regular FLATTEN command doesn't help, try the AVC Flat plugin.
