How to find LAYER ISOLATE (LAYISO) SETTINGS.

I'm happy to say this is an answer to a question post! 😄  I came across this unexpectedly, when I tried to LAYISO this morning. I've learned that the F1 help button can only go so far, but it's a good place to start.

Process: I selected 3 different layers to isolate. I clicked on the LAYISO icon in my menu bar. All my layers were still on the screen, but the un-selected others outside of the 3 to be worked on, were now locked and still select-able by mouse and were faded by 50 percent.

Problem: I was selecting all locked layers, along with the one I was wanting to manipulate, and it was very difficult to see/use.

Good info, but not a lot of help. So I clicked on the left menu option for "LAYISO (Command)" and read that help article. Again, good info to have but not a lot of help, without a How-To-Do-This or Where-To-Find answers. I started digging and this is what I found.

Solution:

- Open your Layer Properties Manager,

- Click on the settings cog wheel,

- Look for the Isolate Layer Settings options

- Select/click the Off option. (Unless you need the Lock & Fade option on.)

- Click the OK button.

For me, I prefer the Off option because I will often times need to select one out the the three layers showing and resize it, in relation to the other two layers. So it's more beneficial and easier to see what I'm working with when I only have one layer selected out of three showing.

A lot of settings are available from the command line while in a command, even clickable. A lot of frustrations can be avoided by just watching the command line.
