I HAVE TWO VIEWPORTS IN PAPER SPACE AND ONE I NEED TO PRINT FADED BESIDE ONE THAT IS NOT HOW DO I DO THIS

if the objects are set to bylayer, then enter the one viewport, start LAYER command, slide over to the columns on the far right labelled VP TRANSPARENCY and change those layers to be as you desire only in that viewport.
