How to copy objects with their layers to another drawing?

I want to copy multiple objects with their layer properties from one drawing to another.

copy/paste between drawings, you know, like you do everywhere else in Windows.
WBLOCK out to a new drawing and then INSERT
or if these are all blocks you can use ADCENTER.

NOTE: if the destination file has those layers or blocks set differently, they will remain different: that's an AutoCAD feature you cannot change.

That worked! What's weird is after doing that, every time I copy paste objects their layers are auto copied too, which didn't happen before. cheers dude.
