How to copy border text from one layout to another

Hi, looking for some info!

Is there an easy way, or an add on that can be installed, that lets you mirror text fileds in multiple layouts? For example drawing names and revision information across a drawing that has 8 pages, so save having to input them in manually on each page? I've set up attributes for the page layouts, so can these be linked across the multiple layouts?

Hope this makes sense!

Cheers

Graeme

Make a block out of the text (or multiple pieces of text if they are in the same location, in each layout)

Insert the block into as many places as needed.

Use BEDIT to edit the block as needed, all of the insertions will update.

Hi,

you can use self defined drawing variables in the drawing-properties (command _DWGPROPS ==> tab "Custom") ... and then use fields (>>>details<<<) in your titleblock (-attributes) to use these properties.

So you have one central place to edit a value and all fields referring to these variables will be updated.
