How to convert floor plan units MM to IN

hi everyone i have this floor plan that is in MM, and i need it to be in IN. 

i'm trying to set the units in inches and then scale it accordingly

I've looked at tutorials on how to change this and have followed along but for some reason i cannot get it to change  to inches. any help would be appreciated.

DWGUNITS command is a good starting place, look it up in HELP or online here (I assume you know how to reverse the example explained here)

i've tried dwgunit, still not getting it correctly. when i remeasure the doorway for example, i am still get it units in "MM" .

if anyone can help demonstrate in a quick video or something, it would be great help for me to see.

UNITS command, not DWGUNITS command, is where you decide how AutoCAD shows feet/inches or mm or just about anything else you want to see when you use DIST command (it's not called "measure"). If you used a DIMENSION to "measure", you most likely need to change your active DIMSTYLE to display feet/inches instead of the mm overrides you have previously.

Assuming of course you answered each of the questions DWGUNITS command asked and you allowed it to SCALE your content as well.
