How to convert a recover bak file to a dwg file

No aplicable

Hi there,

For some awful reason a folder was deleted on my computer containing CAD files. I have checked everywhere for the files, a system restore, the recycling, a hidden folder etc and could not find it. Strangely the file still shows up in "Quick Access" tab under file explore. When I click on it is says the file cannot be found.

I was able to find some late backup on one of the cad files under the C// user// app data etc. the photo is shown below of the .bak files. I have tried to rename to created a .dwg file but it does not work. I want to create a drawing from one of these recovery files, is this even possible?

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!
