How to clear notifications from the Start Tab?

On the Start Tab, there are 10 notifications dating back nearly a year. These are useless to me, but their presence on my screen is annoying. But I can't find any way to clear them or to turn them off.

Can anyone help?

Follow the link one time (each hint), that's it.

10 notifications sounds like 9 tips you never followed and one program update.

Thanks, but STARTMODE = 0 would disable the entire Start tab, and that's not what I'm looking for.

Actually, it's 9 "have you tried" suggestions, and one "see today's top trending how-to videos and tutorials".

If I had wanted to follow the links, I would have done it already. I want to be able to dismiss the notification without following the links.

That's a new Level.

But for this I have no answer, except to redefine the Start tab.

A big edit for this not-a-real-problem case.

Adding one button to dismiss a notification is not "redefining the Start tab".

Thanks, but no thanks for your not-a-real-answer.

You are wrong,

"Adding one button to dismiss a notification is not "redefining the Start tab".

Adding a button in Start tab would be a redefine design.

But as solution i thought to remove the whole 'Notification' part of the Start tab.

"Thanks, but no thanks for your not-a-real-answer."

? This IS a real answer!

If you don' t understand, it doesn't means that it isn' an answer(and solution)

But perhaps also your secound question was not your real question,

perhaps you real question is:

How to set notifications as read (without reading), by push a button?

And hey,

i think there is a way without hacking the start tab,

but I have no time for you now,

later and back on acad I will take a look for you.

So far I am right, it is not controle by CAD Manager Tools,

or perhaps, CMT supress only NEW notifications?

But disabling there would disable it at other places too.

- - -

I had  a quarter hour after dinner and checked the way to

- disable the whole Notification part of start tab,

- also I can set each Notifications read/unread

But still I don't know a out-of-the-box-GUi-way.

So for you it wouldn't be an answer?

Then  I am sorry 🙂

Well, thank you for looking into it further.

Maybe (or maybe not) Autodesk will modify it in a future update. For the time being, I guess I'll just continue to ignore them.
