I'm preparing building plans in AutoCAD 2010 version, I've to set firm's template in layout sheet (A2 paper size). Now I want the template to be printed in black n white and firm's logo to be printed in coloured or how to change the colour of viewports. kindly suggest a solution.

Option -1

Override the Color inside Viewport as explained here

Option-2

Create a Specific Plotstyle where every color is Monochrome other than that of your LOGO (Use a Unique Color for your Logo and change the output color inside the plotstyle)

Hey @Anonymous ,

I would suggest you use the index colours for the objects you want printed in black & white,  and true colours for the objects (company logo) you want printed in colour, then use the monochrome plot style. Monochrome plot style only recognizes the index colours and "ignores" the true colour.

How to do this depends on how you want to handle it and how you currently handle printing in black/white. Are you using a CTB or STB plot style system? If CTB, you will need to set it up so that the colors you want to use will print in color, or use TRUE COLORS in your settings. If you use a STB, set up a Plot Style that will print your objects in color.
