How to change autocad "0" direction from east to north

My AutoCAD 2019 has east as the zero direction, is there a way change the zero direction to "North" and the direction on the degrees to be counter clockwise?

example: drawing a vessel from a vendor which has the "0" direct up and the degrees are counter clockwise

AutoCAD has "0" east and the degrees are clockwise.

Thanks

Hi,

buy a book about the basics, often useful in many years.

Or use the costless program help, press [F1] ans search for... in your sample, you used the words ANGLE and DIRECTION, so search for angle direction...

With the basics about..... take a look at command UNITS, in AutoCAD/LT this is the right point to set up the direction,

and also clockwiese or not -setting.

As @cadffm said

type UNITS and look at the direction options

Type "ANGBASE" and enter "90".  For your purposes, leave "ANGDIR" at "0".  Personally, I prefer "90" & "1" for these as I like to be able to list the orientation of lines using the text window based on a clockwise direction (typical points of the compass), and also to shoot RAYS off into space at any azimuth I choose, and for other operations as well.

Make sense?  Good luck.  I like to avoid dialogue boxes whenever I can - pure keyboard entry whenever feasible.

All very good responses and they work, The degree changed to clockwise matched the vendor direction with the direction set to 90. If using CADWorx Equipment change placement of the components to 90 also leaving the units the same. It has been a long time since I changed the direction and degrees. This has been a good refresher. Solved.
