How is the is dwg Line Type file modified

I have many lines types that have no need for them or are duplicate. Where is the LineType file to erase non needed lineTypes?

Acad read the imperial or the metric *.lin file to offer you its contents and then retains the code inside the dwg database once you called a definition.

Do you want to PURGE (name of the command) the unused (you can only purge unused, not similar) the DWG ?

Or do you want to do something in your source file ? A file easy to find or change through LINETPYE command.
