How do I use bearing and distance('BD) command in Autocad 2024

I'm wondering how I would enable the usage of 'bd command to draw a line using bearing and distance, similar to the way you would do it in civil 3D where you select the quadrant, type the bearing, then type distance.
ex. Quadrant 2, bearing: 77.3514, distance: 169.23.
tried lookingn it up but the tutorial says to enable cogo points from the draw panel, which i cannot find cogo drop down.

thanks ahead of time !

'BD command is unique to C3D (MAP3D too?), so there is nothing to enable if you are in plain AutoCAD only today.

Plain AutoCAD also has no COGO dropdown: what plain AutoCAD tutorial had that? Share the link.

It says MAP right there in the URL

And....

So you'll need to launch AutoCAD MAP, which is included with your AutoCAD rental.

But it's a separate download and install. Don't fall for the "toolsets" misnomer. It's not just a Ribbon you enable.
