I want to return my AutoCAD /LT to factory settings. How can I do this and can I save my customizations so I can restore them later?

Sometimes the easiest way to correct application problems is to restore the original “factory” settings. This can be done quickly and easily.
Do one of the following:
Windows 7: Click the Windows Start button (All) Programs Autodesk <Product Name> Reset Settings to Default.
Windows 8: On the Windows Start screen, right-click (or use the swipe up gesture from the bottom edge of the screen) and click All Apps. Scroll to the Autodesk section, and click <Product Name> Reset Settings to Default.
Windows 8.1: On the Windows Start screen, click the All Apps button located near the lower-left corner of the screen (or use the swipe up gesture from the bottom edge of the screen). Scroll to the Autodesk section, and click <Product Name> Reset Settings to Default.
Windows 10: On the Windows Start menu, click All Apps Autodesk Reset Settings to Default.
In the Reset Settings – Backup message box, choose the option that you want.
