I am trying to customize a hole chart to show me the type of hole in the description column with out using the standard parts.
Process may be using a formula that will search circle property or diameter or diameter dimension prefix text. Auto fill hole description in the hole chart.
Any help would be appreciated
Thank you

Hi,

which software are you referring to?

AutoCAD does not have hole charts, no standard parts, autofill hole description.

There is command in Autocad called AMHOLECHART creates a hole chart. Formulas can be added to column to auto fill information.

Thanks

Hi,

>> There is command in Autocad called AMHOLECHART

That seems to be AutoCAD Mechanical (as the command starts with AM), not AutoCAD.

So you might have more luck in the forum for AutoCAD Mechanical >>>there<<<.

Not applicable

See attached dwg. blocks ("hole") can be exported with DATAEXTRACTION , create a excel DATALINK, and create a TABLE. The hole coordinates are FIELDS and will refresh with a REGEN the actual location with respect to the WCS

Hello JohnKuzma,

I am busy and off for a few days. This looks like it might just give me what I am looking for. I will try it and get back to you.

Thank you and I appreciate the work you put in to it.

Hi,

Do you have to export table to excel?

I changed location size of circle table did not update?

Not sure how this works?

Does the block get dia and position to where you move the hole?

Thank you you for your help
