highlight what i am selected areas

Dear frnds,

    i need highlight what i am selected areas, and other part should be look like not important area like showing gray colour. have any option.. please replay

Hi,

hatch the area in color and the rest in grey?

Use hatch patter like ANSI33 or so, or if you like pattern SOLID then make it transparent so underlaying objects will stay visibe.
