Hide Object in Paperspace VP Only

Hi All,

I know how to freeze a layer from displaying in a paperspace viewport. What I want is to "hide an object" in a PS VP.

Is this possible?

Using the "hideobjects" command seems to work only in model space but that would hide it in ALL VPs. I want to hide it in one VP only.

TIA,

Sal

You can freeze a layer in a single or multiple viewports.
Use the VPLAYER command or there is a column for freezing a layer in the layer properties palette, after you are in a layout, but inside a VP.

Thanks for your response RK,

Please see the OP. I know how to do what you state. What I would like to know is can I hide a model space single object in a single paperspace viewport?

Any suggestions?

That would be a nice feature but so far Autocad can't do it and no way around it showing on the web.

Hi Patchy,

This is what I thought but if there were an answer, it would be here.

It's a cheap work around, but it'll work in a pinch.

Use the Wipeout command with the Wipeoutframe set to 2.

Why not just the put the object on its own layer?
