Help with basic 2-D multiview

Wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to learning the basics of AutoCad.

I have this isometric drawing here, for which I need to create the Front, Right and Top views. And I don't know where to begin.

I'm particularly having trouble with the ellipse nature of the object. How would I do this? Would the fillet command work well?

What about things like centre lines and hidden lines?

Hi and Welcome to AutoDesk Forum,

@Anonymous wrote ( ...And I don't know where to begin.) the first thing that you should know is the dimension of your cyan grid you have to know these rectangles dimensions to start with.since it's clear that every straight line start and end with these cyan grid lines.

@Anonymous wrote ( ..Would the fillet command work well? ) yes Fillet Command will do the job since your lines in good settings mode.

@Anonymous wrote (...What about things like centre lines and hidden lines? ) these Center and Hidden lines must be prepared previously in LAYER manger which there you can make new layers with certain color and linetype.(see attached image)

Try to be patient and just start with your drawing and if you have any other questions, just come back with another new post.

Good Luck...
