Help - replicating the attached file

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi I have a drawing that I have to create from scratch!  Attached is the drawing.  Most of the data will remain, some deleted and much of it revised to a new project.

The easiest way to do this would be to have this projects .dwg file!  Life could be so easy! 🙂

Please advise as to how best I can accomplish this.  My sheet size is 22" x 34", the sample attached may have been 24" x 36"

Look forward to your advice.

It would appear that I am receiving views of my request for information.  Perhaps it would be easier, if someone had a file that I could use / edit.... this would be ideal / great! 🙂

Thank you.

TABLE command after you set up a define a TABLESETYLE
or draw a bunch of rectangles and drop text in them.

What else did you think you needed to do? No one is going to do your work for you, you can do this on your own.

Thx didnt ask for any one to my work! Sometimes we all have been there, we might have a file that is setup, and can be edited.

As far as the Table command is concerned, never used it, always drawn these old school way. I'll have to figure out how this works.

Always thought this forum was to help folks out, and not criticize them, by making statements such as yours. It would have been sufficient for you to make reference to Table command perhaps even providing a link to how to use effect effectively and easily.

Well, to be asking for someone else to have done  your work for you seems pretty much equivalent to asking someone to do your work.  But in any case, be careful of legalities -- you've obviously lopped off someone's title block edge, so there could be intellectual-property considerations here.

Companies tend to make their own format so providing an existing one would most likely not follow this format.  If you have a pdf of this (or use png if that is all you have) xref it into your drawing, draw over the major portions of each schedule, start adding text and blocks for the various doors, etc.  I have used TABLE for my work but nothing this involved, not sure that would be a good way to go unless you have a lot of time to learn and experiment.

Always save a copy of the drawing before trying anything suggested here.

If something I wrote can be interpreted two ways, and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, I meant the other one.

Hi @Anonymous,

As mentioned @GrantsPirate , it would be somewhat easier from a pdf that when imported into AutoCAD would bring the necessary, even if it were necessary to redraw the majority on it, although for that matter the inserted image would already prevent you from tabulating or looking from side to side to redraw everything.
