Help me find a way of doing this

Hello everyone 🙂

So I am applying for this job. And boss sent me homework before I get to talk to him in job interview.

(3d PDF)

SO the homework task is to make shapes like it is shown in PDF, from given .dwg`s. He implies that these shapes must be in Solid, not mesh form.

When it comes to AutoCAD, im pretty advanced in doing 2D. but when it comes to 3D, im (in my opinion) above low and below average (LOL)

Anyone can give me some tips or tutorials for achieving this? What commands should I use?

P.S. Im familiar with main commands of AutoCAD 3D, but when it comes to deeper and more complex tasks,  im lost.

Maybe I should use solid works?

Hi ,

it's a good way from your new boss for testing ... i suggest to start your homework and when you feel that you're stuck some where please come back again with your technical issue .

Good Luck for you...

I am very stuck, Im the most stuck person you ever gonna meet...

Im stuck at that point where I dont know exactly where to begin my task, Should I somehow mold it out of something? should I start with creating main elements and then surafce them to that shape? what sould I start with 😞 I know enough of this program to learn all the commands that I need and dont know, but when it comes to choosing right actions to achieve this, I get lost  😞

Here is a good starter for you too https://plus.google.com/115886875116761257195/posts/Mp3ZeRY5S7t

Dive in, show initiative, I suspect new Boss wants to see that. Post back if you get stuck somewhere specific AFTER you start drawing these shapes.

I would prefer to start with base sketch > Extrude with Draft Angle > Fillets

Hope, this will help and Good Luck !
