HELP. Lines printing jagged from PDF

Hi Everybody, I have an issue that's driving me insane.

 drawing.jpg

I'm trying to print this Orthographic from a PDF plotted from AutoCad, but everytime I print it, every single line comes out jagged (a minor step every inch or so).
I've tried printing out a normal square from a layout and that worked perfectly.
All lines are 100% perfectly straight from the model, to the layout, and even on the PDF.
I have the latest version of AutoCad and it is fully up to date.
Literally everything is perfect until I actually print it.
The printer is perfectly fine - I even took a screenshot of the drawing, converted it to a JPEG on paint and it printed out perfectly straight.
What the heck is going on ?
Please HELP!!!!
Regards
Robbie

Hi,

If the PDF looks normal then it's not a problem of the AutoCAD. You need to check your printer. See if your printer driver is updated with the latest version.

Did you read my post ?

I told you it prints perfectly straight in other applications. It's completely up to date and even tested for alignment issues. It even printed the image perfectly when I converted it to a JPEG!!!!

Hi,

Yes, I did read your post clearly. Did you get what I trying to convey? I am saying that if the PDF generated from AutoCAD is proper without any issue and while printing you see a jagged line then AutoCAD is nowhere involved in this as the outcome from AutoCAD which is PDF is normal:slightly_smiling_face:

Hmm Ok well that does seem to be the case. But it doesn't resolve my issue.

If its a problem with Adobe then i'm curious if anybody else has ever had a similar issue and knows of any possible solutions.

The problem def seems to stem from the creation of the PDF / Driver etc. I'm pretty new to this stuff, never would've imagined printing my drawings could be so problematic.

The issue was still ever so slightly there with bullzip but not as bad. I'm going to just have to play around with different methods.

Thank you for your suggestion.

Hi,

Did you ever solve this. I have the exact same problem and am going round in circles. Was it the printer or your settings in AutoCad?  My PDFs look fine and print fine in A4, it is only A3 that the problem arises.
