helix alignment

Hi, everybody!

I have an issue with helix alignment.

The file is attached

When I use alignment function is changes the shape of helix.

The helix is

Base radius 37.5

Top radius 0

Height 20

Turns 0.2

I perform alignment as follows

I choose align function

I choose first source point top of  the helix, I use the same point  as destination point.

Then I choose second source point the center of green circle

Then I choose second destination  point the center of red circle.

How to avoid changing helix?

++++++++++++++

The problem may be in the fact that I can't set the same point of view in order to estimate the origin and the result,

but as far as my eyes see the resulted helix is not the same as the origin one.

All ideas are appreciated!

Thank you!

two options   add the third alignment point at the center of the large circle source and destinaiton

or

Rotate; select helix, center of the large circle, and center of the red circle
